While I found the product worked as claimed, some missing features made me turn elsewhere for a network sniffer.1) I couldn\'t sort results by columns, so grouping events was not possible.2) I couldn\'t find a search dialog to look for particular events.Perhaps these things can be done in some other way with the product, but because I couldn\'t find them (the product\'s \'help\' seemed minimal) I turned to another of the many products out there and found what I was looking for.

It\'s a useful tool, it would be better if can detect my wireless dongle.

I was a bit disappointed to discover that EtherSnoop won't detect my wireless adapter; this is why I tried it. I think that Visual Sniffer seems to decode packets better, though I didn't really use the product in any depth.Thanks.

Did not work in Vista I did not get it working in Vista Home premium version.

Wow! I downloaded this cram sheet the night before my Network+ exam and it helped me immensely. It really does cover a lot of information in only 6 pages, and it gave me a good sense of what to expect during the exam. I truly believe this helped me to pass the exam. had some very good content. but my comptia net+ cource questins were very explicit in format and types questions asked. it was helpful none the less thqnks. anymore versions of the cram sheets out there you have my email.

Opinion I'm still learning the many facilities available with PRTG Network monitor, but from what I have already discovered, it more than meets my requirements and is an excellent piece of software - more then 'Fit for Purpose'. It does what it says on the box.

PRTG seems very potent. my primary use, to monitor my internet connection uptime, has been reached.

An amazingly simple tool that can give you so much insight into what\'s happening in your environment.

it is a great software on of a kind, so many options, but a jungle of menu items. and it needs improvement, it should be easier and simpler.

I haven\'t had a chance to exchaustively test the program yet, but I have set it up to monitor the local connnections and the data and graphs that comes back looks really good. I\'ll keep using it. If it keeps looking good, I\'ll look at purchasing it for my organization.

Was unable to install on Vista Ult 64 version. Setup would start but window displaying the setup info was minimized and could not be restored or made visible at any point. From reviews this would have been a great program for my needs but, better luck next time. Tried installing/downloading 5x.

Well, PRTG is very useful for me especially an "Auto Discovery" tool.Also,I enjoy its nice GUI

I do not have anything good to say. Tried to install on Vista Home Premium, SP1 but the install keept on hanging. It did leave a half install system that was a mess to clean.

Does not work for vista, only for xp it seems.

- I didn\'t see how to add an automatic proxy configuration- it is unclear which proxy settings are included: internet explorer? firefox? thunderbird? skype (needs a socks5 proxy on a different port)? filezilla? ...?- I didn\'t pursue to rename the sets, but it doesn\'t work by clicking on the name

Dear Sir/Madami was not able to use your program, possibly because of interference with other programs on my machine (Vista, latest updates; on a VAIO VGN-CR21Z/R machine).I then downloaded Net Profiles which after a little fussing around, worked rather well.I did not spend a lot of time trying to find out why your program did not work. This doesn't seem like a very good IP switcher. It didn't work for me and the layout was horrible.

Fantastic. It has all that I was looking for. Infact, IP Switcher has given me more mobility and reduced my hardware expense.

Not awesome... Doesn't switch FireFox 3.0 proxy parameters...

A great set of tools to see what is (or isn\'t) happening with your internet connection! I found out more about what was not happening with mine than with online tests. I may need to switch to a different ISP because of excessive packet loss.

Easy to use I found the product pretty staightforward, but I was interested in getting CNAME info for a domain and it didn't seem to provide full info on a domain. It doesn't seem to have a way to display all records for a domain. Ones that I knew info on already didn't display all of the records I expected.

Not for me Um, I was looking for a simple tool to verify a CNAME record but this was way more than I needed. Sorry I can't provide better feedback...

Professional tool Having come from a network analysis background it is refreshing to find a professional tool to interrogate networking in my home environment. It was frustrating to be 'in the dark' when problems arose, especially when you suspected what was wrong, and not having a pair of eyes to see the problem.
